Arts Festival Silent Auction Open for Bidding
Announces the Lake Chelan Arts Council
Chelan, WA May 2019–The Lake Chelan Arts Council announced today that the Arts Festival’s Silent Auction will be installed in the Chelan Public Library on May 20th. Everyone is invited to visit the library and make a bid on one or more of the original works of art that have been donated for the Art Council’s annual fundraising event.Among the treasures to be bid on are works by Diane Paton Peel, Cameron Elder, Dean Rainey, Dee Dee Cleveland, Gary Rittenmeyer, Jeff and Maureen Hanson and many more, representing a wide variety of mediums such as photography, original oil and acrylic, collage and glass. On June 22nd the Silent Auction will be moved to Riverwalk Park, where bidding will continue during the June 22nd and 23rd Arts Festival. Bidding will close at 3:00 on the 23rd.The Lake Chelan Arts Council thanks the artists who have donated to the Silent Auction and the community who will bid on the artwork. You are supporting the arts in Chelan and ensuring the Arts Festival’s success.
The Lake Chelan Arts Council (a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) Organization) was founded in 1985 to promote, fund and support the visual and performing arts in and around Chelan, WA. The Arts Council awards two Visual Arts Scholarships and is the leader in developing and maintaining, with the ongoing support of the City of Chelan and the Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Chelan Outdoor Gallery as well as sponsoring art classes in cooperation with Main Street Gallery.
